10 Things to Make You Happy

Hi guys! Today I was thinking about what I could post and this came to mind. Sometimes we have those days when we just feel down, so these are ten things that might make you feel better.

1) Do your homework. I know it sounds stupid, but once you get that off your mind, and you aren't thinking about when you are going to fit it or when you need to do it by, then you will feel like you can do anything.

2) Have a friendly conversation with someone. When you are feeling sad, maybe all you need is someone to comfort you.

3) Pamper yourself! Even if you only have ten minutes, taking that time out of your day to give yourself a little me time will really effect your mood positively. Even if you just do your hair or give yourself a facial, you will start to feel better straight away.

4) Eat something. Whenever I am not feeling my best, I get myself my fave snack and just indulge in it.

5) Go out with friends or on your own. Have a browse around some shops, try on outfits and just mess around a bit.

6) Bake cookies. Today after I finished my French homework, I decided that something to make me even happier would be to indulge in some baking. I was already drunk on cookie dough before I put them in the oven!

7) Watch Youtube/tv/Netflix. Just watch one of your favourite shows or youtubers and it will just make you feel 100% again.

8) Try and discover a new youtuber. I love it when this happens to me. I am just scrolling through suggested videos and then this person pops up and they just happen to be fantabulous.

9) Sing high school musical. Me and my friends do this over oovoo and it is the most hilarious thing in the world. Another one of our favourite musicals is grease!

  • 10) Go outside. The outdoors can really effect how you feel, and chances are, you just are feeling a little stuffy from sitting at your computer all day!

Batiste ~ Light and Blonde Review

Hi guys! In this bog post I am going to be reviewing the Batiste Hint of Colour - Light and Blonde dry shampoo. I bought it when I was out on a shopping trip with my friend. We both wanted to see what this whole thing about dry shampoo really was, and if it even really worked!

Design

The first thing I am going to talk about is the packaging. What pops into my mind when I look at it is how big it is. This will obviously last along time (seeing as I wash my hair every two or so days) and I will only really use it when I want to add texture, volume or work on my roots. It is silver with golden and yellow swirls on the bottom of the can, and it is a really pretty design.

How I Use It

What I do when I use it is just to shake it a little. *Insert Taylor Swift song here* Then I hold it about half an arms distance away from my head and spray into my roots. After it has settled I like to massage it in with my fingers and then brush through with my tangle teezer. It works almost immediately  and the results are amazing.

Results

When I originally tried this out I was so impressed with the results. Because this is one specifically for blonde hair, when I sprayed it into my naturally darker roots, it added a hint of colour. I think this just makes your hair look so much more healthy and it also makes it easier to control. If you can find one that matches your hair colour then it will be your favourite beauty product ~ I ASSURE YOU!! This would go well if you wanted a messy bun, voluminous ponytail or just BIG hair in general!

Thanks for reading!  I love you and keep smiling!

Things I Want To Have Done In Ten Years Time

Hi guys! The other day I was watching Alfie's new video (pointless blog) and he asked us a question. He said "where do you see yourself in ten years?" I was thinking I could do that as a blog post, but then I thought, how do I know if that will always be where I want to be in ten years. It seems ages away, and the thought of planning it out, or even guessing what it's going to be like is unreal. So instead, I decided to do a checklist for what I want to have achieved in the next 10 years.

1) Have people that enjoy blog and feel like it helps them. This would make me so happy, the thought that it might someones day brighten is unreal.

2) Perform my own songs. Ever since I was 9 I have been writing songs, and I have been singing. It is what I want to do, and I know lots of people have this as their dream, but it would make me the happiest person on earth if I could do this.

3) Go to New York. I live in the UK, in the East of England. I want to go to New York so badly. I love where I live, but sometimes I see the photos and pictures and I hear the songs and it feels like I belong there. I have fallen in love with it from far away. Luckily, I forced my mum to promise to take me, and we are saving up for the NY fund. It is my dream to go there and if I could...

4) I want to get an A* in a subject. To have achieved something like that would be epic.

5) Get to a good university. I have wanted to go to Oxbridge since I was little, and I am going to work hard for it. ( If you don't know, Oxbridge is Oxford and Cambridge, two of the best universities in the UK.)

6) Make friends through blogging. I have already met Puddleduck, who is a new blogger like me, and I want to make loads more. To be able to say ' Oh, yeah my friend in America' or ' I was talking to my friend from Australia' would be amazing. I would become more confident and become someone who feels like they have somewhere. A small community of close friends.

7) Go on a road trip. Have you ever seen those films where the parents are like 'Guess what kids? We're going on a ROADTRIP!!!!!!' and the kids just go awww. Nope, I would be jumping in the car ready to go. Driving across a country excites me. Imagine doing it in America. The changes would be massive, going from somewhere really hot like Texas, then to drive up to North Dakota, that is my dream. How sad am I???

8) Be happy.
